uphill from here

It's not unusual for house projects to be more time consuming than we originally plan for. Mikey and I worked diligently for hours on Sunday to fix our leaky water line. After 3 unsuccessful attempts, we headed to Walmart in Superior at 10:00 to see if they had anything that we could cap the line with for the night. Alas, they did not so we stocked up on bottled water in preparation for a night without water. We also hadn't eaten dinner, so we grabbed this:

I ate 1/3 of the pizza. Definitely not health food! 'Round midnight, Mikey figured out a way for us to have water for the night even though it meant we still had a small leak in the basement.

Monday was a pretty routine day. It was a day of getting back in the groove and I neglected to get most of the daily food photos. Breakfast was Oikos yogurt and a p.b. sandwich. Lunch was leftover potatoes and stuffing. Early dinner was Ham & Bean soup:
Accounting class was crummy per usual. We got our tests back from last week and I did horrible.
After class, I was still hungry so I had the last 2 squares of pizza. Mikey and I also split the last 2 glasses of Two Hearted Ale. Lots of carbs today and not near enough fruits & veggies.
No workout today either due to me needing to finish up my accounting homework. Between the holiday weekend, working on Sat, and the water leak problem on Sunday, I only had time to do 3/4 of my homework this past week. Overall, not a great day for me on multiple fronts.

On the plus side, Mikey went to Home Depot and got some different plumbing supplies and was able to fix the water line for good. Right before we went to bed, he realized that his medical appointment was today (Tue) and not Friday.

So, today was spent all day at the hospital. Let's hope they can figure out what's wrong with him.
For breakfast I had the last 2 pieces of toast with p.b. and 2 maple sausage links from Schmidt's Meat Market in Nicollet:

During a break at the hospital, I got some JJ's:
It's a veggie sandwich (no mayo).
Once home, I had a handful of chocolate chips and some Chai Black Tea.
It's now dark outside so there will be no workout today either. 3 days of no exercise is making me a little stir crazy. I'm looking forward to a good sweat tomorrow!
